Our Children’s Ministry at Los Gatos UMC is called Kidz Konnection. Here at LGUMC we believe that children are an important part of our church. We seek to share the Love of Christ with all children. Check out our awesome fellowship groups below for children and get your child connected into a loving church family. We have enthusiastic adults and youth ready to greet your kids as they arrive on campus.

SUNDAY MORNINGS SCHEDULE

Children’s program available at 9:15 and 11:00am services, Sunday Morning.

We start in worship for Kids Spirit and then following Kids Spirit the kids will spit into groups/areas based on age. Your kids will love the attention they get in their classrooms.

ARE YOU READY TO AKALOO?

Akaloo is lifelong faith formation for the whole congregation-children, youth, and adults. The name Akaloo is inspired by the Greek work akolouthein (to follow). Jesus said to his disciples, “Follow me.” Drop your nets. A new life awaits you. Akaloo focuses on discovering God in everyday life and in the relationships along the way. It’s not just about one person, but a whole community coming together.

Nursery Infants – Kindergarten

Nursery: A place where parents can confidently know that their babies and little ones are cared for, each one being loved and treasured. The Nursery also provides a private Nursing Mother’s Room.

Kindergarten and Preschool age kids will be engaged in fun bible studies that will help them to discover how God Creates the world and the promises that God makes.

1st-4th Grade

How do you love others?.. Why does it matter what you do at school or at home? Kids will explore these and other questions as they enjoy a fun time through engaging Bible lessons, music, play, class activities, crafts, prayer time, and the amazing friendships they develop..

5th Graders

Student Center at 9:15am
Room 15 & 16 at 11am

Being Unique is part of your DNA, now how do I use my DNA to shape others! Sunday mornings we invite the 5th graders to join us in the student center for an interactive bible study that is filled with games, crafts, and a whole lotta fun!

SAFETY

Sign In and Out

Nursery to Kindergarten- We ask that you sign your kids in and out and take a parent pager for safety and/or upset kids.

1st to 4th Grade- We ask that you sign your kids out only to ensure they are picked up by the proper persons.

Our Staff

In the Nursery and with the children there will always be at least one person who is CPR and First aid trained to help protect your kids.
