GRACE PRESCHOOL STAFF

Debbie Gray - Director: Debbie  has a BS in Business Management, an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Credential and an Adult Education Teaching Credential. She has 16 years of experience as a preschool teacher and director.

Carol Weller – Room 1  Teacher: Carol has a BA degree Child Development and has over 45 ECE Units. She also holds California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and is a Candidate for an Educational Therapy Certificate. She has over 11 years teaching experience in classrooms ranging from preschool to elementary grades.

Kaitlin Eastland – Room 1 Aide: Kaitlin has a BA degree in Psychology. She is continuing her education to obtain her Marriage-Family Therapy license. Kaitlin has over five years experience as a Teacher’s Aide working with children ages 6 months – elementary school age. She is also a Life Groups co-leader working with youth here at Los Gatos United Methodist Church.

Kathy Wingo – Room 2 Teacher:    Kathy has a degree in Park Management, a certificate in Early Childhood Education for Special Education, and a Child Development Teacher Permit with over 40 ECE units.  Kathy has over 10 years experience working with children preschool through elementary grades.

Krista Gaffney – Room 2 Aide: Krista has a BS degree in Biological Sciences and is currently enrolled in six ECE units. She plans to pursue a career in medicine. She has over six years experience working with children ages preschool through high school. Krista has served many years as a VBS Teacher, childcare worker, theater program leader, and most recently as a Head Teacher for preschool students at Camp Galileo.

Christine Marquez – Room 3 MWF Teacher: Christine has a BS degree with double majors in Speech Communication and Advertising/Speech Communications. She has over 21 units in ECE and is a qualified Director and Site Supervisor with a pending AS Degree in ECE. Christine has over three years experience working at a parent observation preschool and as a preschool teacher/aide.

Laura Steele – Room 3 TTH Teacher & MWF Aide: Laura currently has 27 ECE units and has a Child Development Teacher Permit. She is continuing her education with a goal of obtaining her Director Qualification and a BA degree in Child Development. Laura has 12 years experience working with the same family as a full-time nanny; as well as two years experience as a Teacher Aide.

Karen Phillips – Room 3 TTH Aide:  Karen has a BS degree in Environmental and Systematic Biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Karen has taught environmental science to children from Kindergarten to High School since she was in college. Some of her experiences include Junior Ranger programs from the National Park Service, Earth Day programs for Bay Area Air Quality Management District, and volunteer teaching for Environmental Volunteer.

Carla Hyde – Room 4 Pre-K Co-Teacher: Carla has 59 units in ECE and has served as a Preschool Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, and Preschool Director.  Carla has 21 years of classroom experience in the preschool environment.

Whilma D’Souza  - Room 4 Pre-K Co-Teacher: Whilma has a Child Development  Teacher Permit   She has seven years experience working as a preschool teacher.  She has continued her education and currently has over 40 units in ECE classes.

Kristy Currie – Room 5 Pre-K Teacher:   Kristy has a Child Development Teacher Permit with 34 units in ECE and 16 years experience as a preschool teacher.

Robin Browndorf – Room 5 Pre-K Aide: Robin has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from San Francisco Art Institute.  She has six years experience working with children Pre-K through 5^th grade.

Barbara Agrimonti – Chef: Barb is a long standing member of LGUMC.  She has over 20 years experience working with children and youth and has a passion for introducing young children to healthy foods.

Farida Moiyadi – Bookkeeper: Farida supports our preschool and has been serving as the Accounting Manager for LGUMC for over four years.

ALL STAFF MEET OR EXCEED THE DEPARMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES REQUIREMENTS AND HAVE FINGERPRINT CLEARANCES THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND THE FBI.
